Here is a really good Mexican place that I would go back to, even though the portion size was not all that big, in my opinion. The outside looks like a really nice Mexican place, so lets head on in and take a chance.

Here we are getting our start with the traditional Chips N Salsa. Also as a bonus, you get a cup of soup. I am not sure what she called this one, but it is basically “Meat Ball Soup”. Carrots and onions in the mix for some really great flavors. The chips are thinker than what I really like, but still very good. The salsa was chunky and not just some flavored water like some other places I have been to in the past.

Here is the wonderful side dish of rice N beans with the traditional Mexican salad and Pico De Gallo. I always call it “Sinko The Guyo”, as I am going to woof it all down and ask for more. Look at the slightly browned cheeze on my beans! Delicious. I am still baffled as to why they would put a cold salad on a piping hot plate! By the time I get it, the cool salad is not so cool anymore. Know what I mean?

So what did I get this wonderful day in the neighborhood? Sizzling, and I mean SIZZLING Shrimp Fajitas! Can you smell it from there? Man, these things were awesome! Did I mention that they were Sizzling? So many places just don’t get it right.
However, the portion size was a bit on the shallow side shall we say, as there was plenty of room to add more veggies to the mix. I only got 11 Shrimp, but I sure would have been a lot more happier with more veggies. They were sitting there cooking and caramelizing as I just took in the smell, and this wonderful SIZZLING & STEAMING picture for YOU!
And, just for the record, there were no “Photo Magic” tricks added to this picture. What you see is what you get, er, what you see is what I ate up and wanted more. Yeah, these are the best SIZZLING Shrimp Fajitas in town, and I will be going back for more. Any one want to join me?
I went back to Casa Sanchez, as I was really in the mood for some more really yummy Shrimp Fajitas. Well, after looking at the menu again, I decided on another one of my favorite Shrimp dishes, known as “Camerones Rancheros”. OK, I probably spelled it wrong, but I am sorry. However, I can assure you that I did not eat it wrong! Check this dish out! I still got the Meat Ball soup with the other fixings as well.

Here is a Closer Upper of the Shrimp Goodness! Yes, that is butter that is being used for the marinade. Oh, I am sure it is the “Healthy” kind!

What are you waiting for? Get on over there and “Git-Ya-Some”! You will be so happy, I Promise.

OK, I just can’t stay out of this place. I went with my second choice today, which is “Sieta Mares”, or as we say in English, “7 Seas Soup”. Yeap, suppose to have goodies from around the world. Well, if you go to La Cascada, you will get it all done up just right, however, this one was lacking. It was OK at best, but when I spend nearly $17, it better be more than just OK! Know what I mean?!
Lets get on with the goodies. Hey look, I think that is a “Pig Ear” in my soup. I have heard of a “Sea Cow”, but a “Sea Pig”? Hum, lets move on.

Here we can see a closer upper of all the mangled mess of goodness. Crab Legs, Octopus, Bell Peppers, Onions, partially revealed Pig Ear and an Oyster in the Shell.

Lets stir up the road kill, er, the sea kill a bit more. Oh, looky there, a hunk of Fish, but not all that great at all, and a better view of the Oyster in the Shell.

Shall we “Stir The Pot” some more? Yeah, why not. Hey, looky there, a nice big Shrimp! I found 3 of them in this mangled mess of a soup.

And what do ya get as a nice added side dish? Onions and Cilantro to go with the Chips N Salsa and 3 Corn Tortillas.
