In Davao Bus Terminal going to General Santos City, to meet Kristia. She is the first team mate I hired to help with all the projects I have on the Internet. I did lots of research to see where I should find some outsource help that is affordable, and the Philippines is a great place.
We are all happy seeing each other in person finally after working online for over 2 years or so. Not sure now, as time goes by so fast, and some of the projects, as normal, just don’t work out the way we intend, so, we back up and take another route and try something different. At one time, I think I had 11 or 12 team mates helping me out, but, now I am down to 2 as I am updating this blog.
General Santos City is known as the Capital City of Tricycles or Pedicab. There are thousands upon thousands of Blue Tricycles.
Going to Veranza Mall, one of several malls, to tour around and eat lunch as well. Yep, always on the look out for some Great Yum Yumz!
We eat good food at Bonchon Restaurant. I got the fish, and they have several different flavors you can pick from. I took the “Hot and Spicy”, and it was an excellent choice. Went back the next day and got more! haha
The wall doubles as a water fall, and the mist feels really good on a Hot and Humid Day. Hum, looky there, 3 Beautiful Women, looks like they could pass for sisters, eh? If you are still wondering, the one in the matching white shirt is my fiancee’.
Whee…..I can feel the Crab!!! Hum, I wonder how many people it would take to eat a crab of that size? Can you imagine coming face to face with this beast in the ocean? Scary thought.
Pacman Gym is owned by Manny Pacquaio, one of the best fighters/boxer in the world. We saw him but was not able to talk to him as he was busy practicing for his fight with Bradley. However, we have the connection to be able to meet with him next time in town, so that will be exciting for all of us.
First time for me to ride a tricycle or pedicab. As you can see, I think I will take a head pad next time, as even with being a contortionist, I am still a bit tall for a small area! LOL
In SM General Santos City with Agnes and the Angel Team.
City Hall of General Santos City .
We ate dinner at one of the famous restaurant in General Santos City that serve lots of seafood. All are so good so it makes it really difficult to just make a single selection, so we selected several and shared the Awesome Yum Yumz!
Going to Pacman Beach, which is owned by well known boxer Manny Pacquaio.
Hey Look, those 3 Beauties are still following me around! 🙂 Did I mention already that I am really Blessed? 🙂
Hey looky there – Fresh Sushi! Anyone got a net? Hey, who brought the rice?
Fishing is a huge industry here. Gen San is the Tuna capital of the world, and lot of it goes straight to the USA. Took some pics and video around the port, which I will be adding later, but these people work so hard hauling these monster fish around.
They talked me into playing this hoops game, which I have not done since I was fresh out of the military. It was fun for sure, and I some how kept getting enough points that it keep giving me more time. My right arm was getting so tired, I started shooting with both arms to give my right one a break, which I guess was a challenge to other guys there, as they were jumping in to see if they could beat my score! 🙂
